Wow! You’re 55 today and you are as stunning and young as ever.
Probably because God has been continuously molding you to be the very best woman, daughter, wife, and mother to all of us. And yes, I thank God for choosing me to come out from you. He is the source of all life and all love.
God must have loved me that much for making that simple decision.. choosing you to be my mother. :)
We don’t do this regularly. We don’t write letters or even express honoring to each other.
But this time, let me take this opportunity to write to you and let you know how proud i am of you.
Nay, no words could ever express how grateful i am for your love.
Ever since the world began, God gave you as my shelter, protector and blanket.
Me, tatay and jolo could not face all triumphs and trials without you. You have been the solution of every challenge and the person to run to when everything doesn’t seem to go right. Even if i live islands away from you, i always long for that precious hug you offer me every day. Everyday, i thank God for your love. Everyday, I thank God for the grace of you.
I admire your strength and your courage.
You are the strongest woman I know.
You have the strongest heart. Even with all the difficulties in life, you managed to survive, stand strong and kept on loving and living. If i have the most precious jewel in my hand, i won’t exchange it for your love. Your love is far more precious than any diamond in the world.
Your strength comes from God, that is why when times you felt tired, you are still standing and holding on. Hmmm I think you are God’s favorite!
And because you have been always there to stand up for me.. for all of us. You’ve always been there to show me what’s right and what’s wrong. You’ve always been there to believe in me.. to encourage me.. you have walked me through this life’s journey and have helped me to be the woman that i am now. I may not be the perfect daughter but know that my love for you keeps on growing as each day welcomes another.
Nanay, you and tatay have taught me how to love God unconditionally. You’ve also taught me that there is a Father who always guides and will never abandon His children. So for this, I continue to thank God for the biggest blessing of you. God has given the perfect mother for me and jolo.. and the perfect wife for tatay.

I would like to take this opportunity to be grateful for all the love and gifts that has been showered upon me this Christmas season.
Yes, I have my own favorite gifts… but in more ways than one, i am entirely grateful for all things i have received..whether material or physical presence.
For the past few days, I have been really debating with myself to take online pictures of my favorite gifts and post them here to thank everyone. But then with all sincerity of heart, I have realized that more than the material gifts that has been given to me, i have appreciated more seeing my family and friends, hugging them, or just plain asking them how they are.
These are just some few things that made my heart tickle during the season of love and the welcoming of the new year.
- Family reunions. We do this every Christmas.. Organizing these events with everyone is just the fun and awesome.
- Seeing old friends. Friends would always be friends..
No matter how far we’ve all been away or wherever God has took us, friends would always be there for each other. - Being with God. I took the time to really talk to God all the time.
- taking antibiotics and antiviral drugs concurrently
- He has been my constant companion during the holiday season.
This short post is just to show everyone how thankful I am.
My life and my family may not be that perfect, but God has placed me perfectly in wherever I am now.
And for that I am forever grateful…
To a year full of grace. In a few hours, as i write this last entry of 2010, we will welcome the new year 2011. For those who are with their families, be grateful for that because nothing is better than spending the new year with the best people in your life, your loved ones.
There are things that I could not even grasp or understand. Until now, at the present, slowly, God has been showing me what I my desires are. So I’m patiently and joyfully waiting for Him.
As I have been saying over and over “God knows my heart more than I do.” And because of this knowledge, He brought me to get a peek of His Kingdom.. Bringing me to Palawan for five days.. and four more to come.
here I am just giving you a preview of the awesome land He had created for us. Note that for the past five days, no swimming and recreation was involve.. but I had the best time of my life doing what God has prepared for me.
I wish I could blog everything in just one entry.. but no, the whole experience is too much for only one post.. So after everything … I will tell you the stories.
For now, let’s go and jump to the islands..
